Biker Boots, we kick around a bakers dozen - March 29, 2005
 Cruiserboots® are an engineer-style slip-on that were designed from the bottom up to meet the needs of cruising riders, both on and off the bike. The result is a boot so comfortable that you shouldn't be surprised if Rover fetches your Cruiserboots® instead of slippers when he sees you heading for the easy chair.
Their molded outsole sports a moderate heel for comfortable walking, and they grip pavement like a squirrel on tree bark. Cruiserboots® are guaranteed waterproof in normal use, thanks to a waterproofing treatment that's pounded into the leather and polyurethane sealing around the outsoleiand at all seams. Inside, the boots are fully lined with Drilex, a modern textile that wicks water vapor from steamy feet and transmits it to the breathable leather. For protection, Cruiserboots® feature ballistic fabric around the ankles and a styrene toe guard borrowed from the Canadian military. The boots performed well on both the bike, and sidewalk, so rally goers can leave their tennies at home and strut their stuff in styIe.
