COMFORT

Just ordered my second pair of Commandos. Wore the first pair daily for several years; rode the lower 48 states (many several times) and put over 100,000 road miles on these great boots. Resoled them once but the "contact points" (shifter, etc) on the tops wore through enough to cause them not to be waterproof anymore. I'll still wear my first pair a few more years, though, because theyre incredible comfortable and we've become pretty good friends. Jeff Petterson of Grand Forks, ND - July 17, 2007

I wanted to write and let you know I love my boots! I wear them all the time. I own a specialty vehicle training school called MOTOMARK1, LLC (www.motomark1.com) and we train street bikes, dirt bikes and ATVs. I have traveled and trained around the world, and ridden cross country ten times and have used Cruiserwork boots. My feet stay dry in the rain, warm in the winter (wearing my Cruiserworks wool socks) and cool in the summer. I like the boots so much that I have stressed to my instructors this is the most comfortable boot for training and riding. I would encourage anyone that wants a great comfortableand functional riding boot to buy yours. I wear them at work and at home. The only time I don't wear them is when I'm in bed!!! The boots are so great I was able to encourage my fellow State Troopers to buy them also. They liked them so much that the Highway Patrol bought them for the Motor Unit. The guys are loving their boots and living large! Thank you for making a wonderful boot and keep up the good work!!!!! Mark L. Brown - February 17, 2007

Sitting here in my office, at my desk, my feet aching from high heels, I found myself daydreaming how I wish Cruiserworks made a women's high heel/pump. I have never worn a pair of shoes/boots more comfortable than Cruiserworks. If I could wear my boots to work everyday I would, but I don't think they would be too attractive with my dresses. Anyway, just wanted to let you know how much I loooove your boots. Sincerely! C. McIntosh of Sulphur Springs, IN - August 10, 2004

As we told you at the Honda Hoot 2004, we are very pleased with our Cruiserworks boots. My wife has a harder to fit calf and foot, and hers fits great. We both found that we put them on new, and they were very comfortable. I have had comfortable riding boots over my 40 some years of riding, but most of the time when I got off to walk around, I suffered. These are different; almost like a hiking boot! We wore them almost daily last summer for 3500 miles to the Badlands, Mt. Rushmore, Sturgis, etc. And at Rushmore, we hiked all over the place in total foot comfort. So, do we tell our riding friends about them? Sure do! A. and D. Reeves of Columbus, Indiana - August 2, 2004

I received my boots this past Friday, and put several hundred miles on them already. I did a lot of research and shopping around before choosing Cruiserworks and I must admit, everything I've read is true. They fit very nicely and have that broken in feel almost right off the bat. Even though we've had the hazy, hots and humids, they're not uncomfortably hot as one might expect from waterproof boots to be. So far I haven't had the opportunity to find out just how waterproof they are, but since everything else turned out to be true, I'm sure they'll live up to their billing in that respect as well. Another nice touch was a little hand written note on the tag from someone name Josh (if I read it right). A little think like that goes a long way in my book. You'll have some more of my business, and I'm passing the good word around for you. Oh by the way, I forgot to mention they look good too. Thanks! George C. of Bethel CT - August 2, 2004

I have just received my Cruiserworks Men's Tour boots. I am pleased to get them so quickly. They are lightweight and so comfortable (your directions on correct sizing are very helpful) and they feel great just walking in. I can't wait to ride tomorrow even though it is only to work and back. I am very happy so far with the decision I made to purchase Cruiserworks boots and I am confident I'll be pleased for years to come. Thanks again and I will definitely pass the word on your boots! Dear Cruiserworks, I just had to drop you folks a quick note and let you know that I love the boots (Classic Men's) I just purchased from you at Americade. The sales person was very professional and he made sure I got a proper fit, even though it was very busy at the time. I wore the boots all week both riding and walking and to my surprise the boots do not seem to need to be broken in, they were comfortable right away. I also rode in some heavy rain on my way back home to Kernersville, NC and my feet stayed nice and toasty. I was also pleased to learn that you are a North Carolina company. Keep up the good work folks. Larry of Kernersville, NC - June 9, 2003

CUSTOMER SERVICE

I had a 4 year old pair of Cruiserworks Commando Boots that were the most comfortable footwear I have ever owned. The boots got lost on their way to ReSole America in a pre-addressed US mail pouch that ReSole provided. After over 2 months of waiting for ReSole America to propose a resolution, I called Cruiserworks. Cruiserworks immediately shipped me a new pair of boots at no cost, saying they would work it out with ReSole America. I have offered to pay if they are unable to work it out. Talk about above and beyond the call of duty. The folks at Cruiserworks give a whole new meaning to customer service. A couple of months ago I sent my boots to ReSole America to be resoled. After a few weeks passed and I had not got them back I called ReSole. I was informed there were some supply problems and it could be a couple more weeks. I needed my boots in a couple of days, so Resole got the okay to pull a pair of soles from production and resoled my boots. We split the difference on overnight shipping and I got my boots in time. Things have been pretty busy for me and I have neglected to thank ReSole and Cruiserworks for the excellent customer service I received. Your boot is the most comfortable boot I have ever worn. I can be on my feet in them all day and feel great. Also, I do not hesitate to tell anyone that IMHO, they are the best boot on the market. The resole job made them as good as new. I probably will have to buy another pair just to have them. Now, if you had a style in rattlesnake skin, I'd buy a pair today. Thanks again! P. I work for a huge insurance company, and why can't we treat our customers like you do? First, great website with complete product info and easy access. Second, I can't believe how quickly my boots were shipped - ordered online Tuesday night, shipped on Wednesday, and arrived today, Thursday. UPS allowed me to track my shipment so couldn't wait to get home to "try 'em on." Third, opened the box and was delighted to see a handwritten thank you note from Dan for my order. Fourth, a prize - a free penlight gift and shoe/boot horn and product info that are all much appreciated. Fifth, I have a hard to fit size - narrow width and ½ size availability are two major selling points. Sixth, "Wow" tried 'em on and even vacuumed my den carpet to try them out - yah, a little snug at first but followed your instructions and the longer I walked around the house, the better they felt. Can't believe how lightweight they are. Finally, a friend told me when I bought my bike to buy Cruiserworks® boots. Yep, I screwed up and bought some cheap cycle boots that didn't fit worth a @#&$, and even tried to make them waterproof with some old spray can of silicone. Well, now I know - great fit, great value, and first class service. Thanks for everything and ride safely! C. Wise of Georgia - May 13, 2004

Hello, I just want to say that I have wanted a pair of your boots for 15 years and I finally broke down and got them. What was wrong with me?!!? I LOVE THEM. Keep up the good work. T. Schmick of Findlay, Ohio - August 6, 2004

SAFETY

I got strafed by a wild turkey today and went down at 45 mph. The bike is dinged up but I walked away with just some sore muscles. My Cruiserworks boots took a licking, scuffing the leather and ripping the ankle buckle clear off the boot. The best part is, the boots stayed on and provided me with complete protection. The Kevlar ankle armor did its job admirably. I've had my Cruiserworks boots for seven years and have grown very fond of the comfort, and now the protection. Thanks for making a great product! Dear Cruiserworks, Just a few months ago I purchased via telephone a pair of your finely made touring boots. Little did I know that soon this purchase was to be of the utmost importance. Two weeks ago I unfortunately experienced a motorcyclists worst nightmare. A full size sedan pulled straight into my lane of travel leaving me with not much more to do than try and get my right leg that was partially raised from the foot pegs took the brunt of my 35 mph impact with the sedan. The E.M.T.s cut the boot off of my right foot, which was rotated 90 degrees right and pointing up 45 degrees. Upon reaching the Emergency Room the attending physician after hearing my description of what happened and after taking a look at the boot that was still on my left foot, stated that the boot is more likely what kept my foot from being sheared off or torn away from the bone any further. I would like to personally thank you for the committment to excellence that you exhibit with the construction of your boot. I feel that I will go on to ride another day thanks to the fine product that your company markets. You definitely have the motorcycle enthusiast at heart. THANK YOU! Just one question! Can I purchase a right-sided replacement to complete my pair? THANKS AGAIN! Anonymous Emailer - September 29, 2001

Dear Sir or Madam, I was involved in a fire from a leaking fuel line which engulfed my brand new motorcycle and right foot. I was wearing your boots that I had received only two days before. Although I suffered 2nd degree burns to my ankle and shin, I wanted to let you know that your fine product was probably instrumental in preventing more serious injury. It was only after I removed the boots to get my flaming pants off that my foot was burned. Anyway, thanks for your great product. I intend to order another pair of Touring boots as soon as I heal up. Sincerely Dr. F. Burton, MD of High Point, North Carolina - September 13, 2002

Got my new boots the other day and finally got to ride with them and I have got to say they are SUPER!! I ride a 2002 Yamaha Venture which is a big, top heavy bike. I thought the boots I was wearing were good but they are nothing compared to these new ones. Traction, Comfort and Confidence inspiring for handling this big bike. Phenomenal! A. I just wanted to tell you how amazing these boots are. There is a hill here that all local bikers avoid because it is very steep and it has three lights and it is impossible to hit all three of them green. Of course this means you must stop and play with the clutch, gas, and brakes. You know the drill. Anyway with these boots I was absolutely astounded when I found that I could just stop and actually hold my bike with just my feet!!! Yes it does take some effort but the soles grip the road like iron! Thanks for a fabulous boot! Chuck of Seattle, Washington - May 8, 2003

STYLE

Well, it's time for a new pair of riding boots. Since the last time we ordered online with you, I thought that I would try out some other boots. I was very happy with my first pair of Cruiserboots and thought that I could find something like them at a riders shop. So I went out to the local shops to try on boots. One didn't have any women's boots at all and the other only carried sizes up to 8.5. I wear a women's 10. I also ride to work and another of my requirements was that the boots had to nice looking to be able to wear to the office. That cut down on the selection even more. Most of the Men's boots had all sorts of stuff on them which would not work at the office. Of the two styles left, which I tried on, they were too big across my foot and then bit into the back of my heel. So, here I am again. It's a nice boot, fits good the first time, and looks good at the office. Thanks! Anonymous Emailer - July 19, 2003

WATERPROOF

We purchased a pair of your waterproof boots for my wife and myself this year. We wore them on our 6 week, 7800 mile trip this summer, which was the wettest trip we have been on. We rode in what seemed like rain everyday. But your product was as advertised...our feet never did get wet. We have and will continue to recommend your boots to our friends and fellow riders. Thanks for the Great Boot! Richard and Melody Urbanowski - August 16, 2007

In June of this year, I left from my home outside Asheville, NC, for a 10-day, 3,000-mile tour of upstate NY, the Green Mountains of Vermont, the White Mountains of New Hampshire and the Maine coastline. The day I left, I was careful to cover the saddlebags, tankbag and myself with rain gear. Shod with my trusty leather boots (circa 1983) I hit rain within the first 100-miles and rode in it for the next 400 that day, and 200-miles more the next day, finally riding out of it close to Binghamton, NY. As usual, my feet were soaked, burning and the boots squelched when I walked. Having experienced this phenomenon for all 34+ years of my riding experience, the discomfort was nothing new. But, likewise, it wasn't pleasant either. I hit the last day of Americade 2004 in Lake George, NY, and, at the urging of a friend and fellow rider, Rich Rothschild (familiar with seeing my leather-stained socks draped over rocks, tree branches and motel airconditioners), I stopped into the Cruiserworks exhibit in the annex hall and tried on a pair of the mens' zip-up touring boots. Wow! Complete with a pair of Coolmax over the calf socks, I thought I'd died and gone to motorcyclists' Footwear Heaven! I have to admit that I grimaced at the price (but then, I'm a che . . . a frugal guy when it comes to spending) but in the end the comfort and fit won out . . . that, and the prospect of dry feet while riding in the rain. To my welcome surprise, my friend Richard was absolutely right about the Cruiserworks boots! Since then, I have hit torrential downpours in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Michigan and Kentucky, with rain so incredibly heavy that even the trucks were pulling over (me as well), and my feet have stayed perfectly dry and comfortable!! Plus, the boots don't get heavier due to water absorption! For me, this constitues a virtual revolution in riding comfort. Now, if it looks like rain when I start out on a trip, the old dread of wet feet and the attendant discomfort is blissfully absent. You can only appreciate the significance of that if you ride and have ridden hundreds of miles with wet, soggy boots and socks. I have. I don't miss it. Bottomline: To you and the whole Cruiserworks organization . . . THANK YOU!!! . . . for a product that does exactly what it claims to do. The irony is that I live in North Carolina, the boots are made in Charlotte, and I had to go all the way to Lake George, NY, to discover them!! Trust me, I'd ride from here to Timbuktu for a pair of Cruiserworks boots. They are worth every mile. You folks rock! Best regards, A True Cruiserworks convert and evangelist. P. Hartwick of Asheville, NC - August 9, 2004

About six weeks ago I bought a pair of your boots. I had been thinking about doing so for several years. I just wish I had done so sooner. They were so comfortable from the first day and I liked them so much, I talked my wife into getting a pair, as well as two other friends. This past weekend a group of eighteen people when on a thousand mile four day trip in the mountains of eastern Tennessee and western North Carolina. It rained three of the four days. The only people with dry feet were the four of us with Cruiserworks boots. Everyone else was using gators, waterproof socks, or grocery bags, while we just had on our Cruiserworks. It still amazes me how truly comfortable and waterproof these boots are. I would bet that the rest of our group will be ordering boots since they all asked for your website on our last day together. I for one will be a customer for life. Thank you for making such a fine product. B. Selph of Franklin, Tennessee - May 20, 2003

You probably get tired of reading these, but your Cruiserboots have served me so well for almost three years and I have to send my word of praise. Hot, cold, wet or dry, my feet are comfortable. The combination of your boots and socks has seen hot, humid days of cruising as well as cold, wet days with nary a problem. Got caught in a huge thunder dumber in the North Carolina Mountains coming down off the Blue Ridge last summer. Even my Gericke Taureg Gore-tex super jacket gave up, but not your boots and socks. When I finally reached my stopover motel for the evening, the only thing dry was my feet. I don't think the boots would be so well traveled if they didn't travel so well. My longest day so far is 750 miles. Didn't even begin to test the comfort of the boots. To make things even better, I can walk around all day in them if I'm making frequent stops to tromp around a park or explore a trail. Thanks. Your products improve the immense delight of motorcycling. H.W. - December 4, 2002

Beth Veach, The boots I bought today at Americade performed as you promised. I rode 210 miles in the rain and my feet were dry. I wish the same could be said regarding my "waterproof gloves." Thanks for the comfortable and dry boots. Tony - June 7, 2003
