Letter from the Owners:
This is the year 2010, that we at Cruiserworks are going to make some great changes that we have been looking forward to for a long time.
Our Great News!
It is our great pleasure to share with all of you that in September Cruiserworks will begin production in Wisconsin! Yes! 100% MADE IN THE USA! It has taken longer than we wanted; but the end results are tremendously exciting for us and our valued Cruiserworks friends and customers.
Our Thanks!
We cannot begin to thank you for all of your support and kind words. So many familiar faces, good times and laughs keep coming to my mind from the wonderful experiences we have enjoyed over the past 2 ½ years. We feel very blessed to have so many new friends in the motorcycle community.
There were many times when I was challenged to fight back the doubt. Then I would answer the phone or open an email from one of you saying “hang in there” and “don’t give up!” Your kind words were often all we had to keep us going during the most difficult times.
Our Commitment:
There is no denying mine and Jay’s passion and belief in Cruiserboots. We hope that we have proven are commitment to our loyal customers and our dedication to provide excellent customer service. We stand 100% behind Cruiserboots’ comfort, waterproof performance, durability and reliability.
Our Plan:
Our plan is to crawl, walk, and run! We simply cannot afford to mass produce every model and size immediately. Instead, we will focus initial production on the impressive back order list that we have. Production will be directed in sequence to the highest demand models; so it will go like this; Men’s Tour, Lady Rider, Men’s Classic, Lady Side Zip, Men’s Side Zip. Our goal is to have all sizes in all styles available as quickly as possible.
Our Promise:
Nothing can touch the Cruiserboots for comfort, on and off the bike. Cruiserboots are fully waterproof and provide the support and safety you need. We have an uncompromising passion and belief in our product. Cruiserboots are proven, every year, by every rider, every mile, in every boot.
We promise this. And we promise our commitment to keep you a happy customer.
The last item is one most of our competitors overlook. These are the “little things” that make a superior product. We at Cruiserworks make the outer leather waterproof. We do this by sealing seams, using the highest quality leather and materials so we have minimal entry points for moisture to enter the boot and our lining not only keeps your feet warm and dry in the wet weather , but cool and comfortable in the heat of Summer. We protect you feet with lightweight and rugged construction that is unrivaled, including Kevlar® for added protection. This is the same material found in bulletproof vests used by the military and law enforcement.
Think about how you dress for wet cold weather. Do you put on a base layer, raincoat and then a jacket? No that would be ridiculous. The Jacket would get wet and soaked and while the raincoat under the jacket would keep you dry, you would be damp, cold and have a waterlogged jacket. We keep the water out at the outer layer and do not let it penetrate inside the boot. More work is required and a higher level of quality to make an effective boot. That is why Cruiserworks is committed to producing our boots in the USA.
Try a pair of Cruiserworks boots and see why we have so many loyal and repeat customers. We make a better boot and your feet deserve it.
I first heard of Cruiserworks Boots from a friend of mine that wears the Men’s Classic. After a day of riding in the rain and my feet wet I learned that his boots were waterproof and his feet were dry. Returning home I immediately checked this product out on-line and ordered the Men’s Defender. These boots aren’t like the typical work boots you dread breaking in. After a days’ wear they feel as though you have been wearing them for a week. I typically ride from 10,000-20,000 miles each year. My longest day riding in the rain to date is 400 miles and my feet were as dry at the end of the day as they were at the beginning. Before learning of Cruiserworks I tried rain gators and rubber slip on over boots. The over boots kept my feet dry but I felt like I had club feet and didn’t feel safe with such heavy feet and slippery bottoms. When you ride a lot you learn how to ride in inclimate weather and there is nothing worse than stopping on the side of the road dawning rain gear in the rain. We all know how much harder it is to get into the rain gear while you are wet or getting wet. Having the right waterproof boots to start with leaves only your rain suit to get into. These boots are also light weight and excellent for walking. Buy the way should you wear out the soles you don’t have to buy a new pair. You can send in your boots and have the soles replaced at a fraction of the cost of a new pair. I have just recently ordered a new pair and am sending in my old pair for new soles.
I received the boots your sent and am very impressed. They fit like a glove and are VERY comfortable. When I first received the boots I wore them around the house for a few hours. Immediately, they started to become comfortable. Yesterday, I rode my Vstrom out of town and was concerned my feet may hurt while out shopping. Not a problem at all! I couldn't believe how comfortable they were to walk around in. They were just as comfortable as if I had worn my tennis shoes. All my other boots were never really comfortable to go shopping in. They are also great looking, and made of quality materials. I will use these boots for riding, but I like them so well I would wear them with just jeans too. They are also very easy to slide on and off. These boots are all they are said to be, plus more. I highly recommend them!!! I will pass the word on. Thanks __________________

These boots are made for walkin’—and especially for ridin’—even in foul weather. They’re 100-percent waterproof, premium full-grain leather; and the most comfortable, multi-functional boots I’ve come across in my 30-plus years of motorcycle riding. They perform as advertised, and with versatility and style.
I had the opportunity to talk to Cara Crawford, co-owner of Cruiserworks along with husband Jay, when ordering my boots. A pair of 10″-tall Tour Boots was my choice, because for me, the Tour Boot is a clean, unpretentious style. I also like the easy slip-on, slip-off style—no laces, no buckles, no zippers. We discussed the sizes of my current shoes and boots, and the fact that I tend to wear medium- to heavy-weight socks and a custom insole, and decided a 10M would be the best size for me. When the boots arrived and I first put them on, they were a perfect fit. Cara, Jay and other Cruiserworks associates are very good in helping you determine the best Cruiserworks boot size for you. Of course, if they do happen to miss, there is no problem exchanging them for another size.
Cruiserworks boots are incredibly comfortable right out of the box. They weigh in at just over a pound apiece, which is about half of what my regular riding boots weigh. I may tend to be somewhat persnickety or fastidious, but I wore my Tour Boots only in the house the first few days. Before heading outdoors, I applied Cruiserworks Leather Cream to my new footwear. The first couple of hours riding while wearing my new boots brought me light, scattered showers—not really my intention. I really hate having to wash and dry a motorcycle, but my feet were perfectly dry.
My first real test for my Cruiserworks was last fall at Bikes Blues & BBQ in Fayetteville, Arkansas. I packed a pair of New Balance walking shoes, but never used them the entire five days while attending the rally. I walked the rally sites for hours on end in my new Cruiserworks Tour Boots, and my feet were feeling fine.
The next month was the more severe test when I ended up riding for about seven hours from Kansas City toward New Orleans in the rain. The riding sucked, but my feet were comfortable. There was a little dampness in the boots, but that was because the rain ran down my legs into my boots. (Maybe I need new rain pants.) In New Orleans, my Cruiserworks Tour Boots were perfectly at home whether walking through the finest hotel lobbies on Canal Street, or walking on discarded beads and beer containers in the gutters of Bourbon Street.
Lately, I’ve been wearing my Tour Boots while walking with my dog in the minus-13-degree weather through the snowdrifts along the lakeside in our neighborhood. I’ve also worn them on dressier occasions, like attending the dinner theatre with my wife and our friends.
The upper and outsoles are bonded with polyurethane to maintain their waterproof properties. Cruiserworks use a Rhino-Lite oil resistant outsole with a good “V-grip” sole design. The boots have a layer of abrasion- and puncture-resistant ballistic nylon for protection around the ankles. They use a broad fiberboard footbed that has more tensile strength and spreads motorcycle vibration over a greater area than a steel shank footbed, and the military toe box will stand up to repeated shifting. The boot lining provides “climate control” for your feet, wicking away moisture to keep your feet comfortable in both hot and cold weather.
Jay and Cara Crawford are passionate about their Cruiserworks boots and are dedicated to providing their customers with a top-quality product and great customer service. After talking with Cara and wearing the boots, I’m a believer that Cruiserworks boots are of exceptional quality, and will be of lasting value.

Well, here's the post-Sturgis report on my new Cruiserworks boots.
We enjoyed a beautiful easy 1-day 420 mile jaunt from Denver to Sturgis, on Friday. It was highly entertaining meeting & talking with other riders at the gas stops along the way. Sometimes 50-100 bikes would be taking a break at a gas station, & everyone seemed to want to chat & share their road experiences.
About 30 minutes following arrival at our Sturgis destination the skies opened up & for about 30 minutes it seemed a tornado was passing through. It poured. Stepping out of the trailer, in the campground, to check on the bikes, my new boots had their first encounter with a sea of water & mud. But, my feet were cozy & dry throughout.
The rest of our stay was hot & muggy. It took a couple of days for the campground to dry out. In town, we walked for miles, checking out all of the vendors & some of the local color. My feet never complained. I lived in my boots through Tuesday & seemed more comfortable than the folks who kept changing into their tennies as soon as they parked their bikes.
All in all, my new Cruiserworks boots seem to be even better than my old pair. Keep up the good work. If anything, I'd only ask that you consider offering an even thicker sole, for those of us a little vertically challenged, making it a bit easier to be flat footed when the bikes are stopped.
